Breaking and Entering - a combat encounter for Cairn

Breaking & Entering is an in medias res combat encounter set in a multi-storey tavern.

 After a successful but harrowing dungeon crawl, the party seeks warmth, rest, and perhaps something more in the inn —you know the one. The one inn every settlement has.

 After a short introduction to set the overall scene, the players will create aspects of the world together:

• What was your last crawl about?
• Who or what sent you there?
• Whom or what did you lose?
• Whom or what did you disturb?

• What’s the inn’s name?
• What makes this place special?
• Who's the Proprietor?
• Where do you spend the night?

Don't forget to put some highly flammable barrels of spirits in one corner and plenty of hay under the roof.

Oh! There are Hobs, too, of course. Don't break them! We like them little rascals.
